Hello,
My very fancy sister has started another blog in which she can keep up with her resolutions. I however am going to bore you with mine right here on the "family" blog. Sorry. Someday I will be as cool as her, until then I am going to be a one blog woman...
My New Years Resolution list is LONG... My intentions are good and hopefully my list will be much shorter next year...I have the standard ones, which I am going to post for MY inspiration and then I have some extra ones tailor made for me.
1. Exercise 3 times a week - in the form of running.. Don't laugh- I CAN DO IT!
2. Eat healthier. - cutting down on fast food - keeping fresh fruits and vegetables in the house at all times, eating breakfast before lunch time and before I realize that I missed it and am either sleepy or chewing someones head off.
3. Spend quiet time everyday with God. Read my bible, pray more, live better.
4. No impulse shopping. I do not need to reward me or my children with "stuff". We have enough stuff, really. Target will survive with out my daily presence...
5. Date's with Kevin. At least every other week, then working our way up to once a week.
6. No four letter words. Philip dropped his water bottle yesterday and let the "s" word fly. I take responsibility for that one completely.
7. Spend more time with my parents. They are both amazing people and I can still learn alot from both of them.
8. Let some of my controlling issues go. This world will run without me micromanaging it. I think....
9. Funny how this one ended up near the end.. Take care of me. It is ok to make time for me and the things I like to do. I will make dr's appointments, dentist appointments and hair appointments for myself AND KEEP THEM.
10. Oh yeah and I am going to learn how to say NO... maybe.
